Our History

Prosper for Purpose was launched in January 2013 to help organizations engage, inspire and transform relationships with their publics. Founder Lorraine Schuchart had more than 25 years of experience working with companies, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, print and broadcast media. She brought her experience and best practices together, and named the company for her philosophy that purpose is the foundation for success.

Our Hometown

We are proud to call cleveland, ohio home.

Most members of #TeamProsper have worked and played in Cleveland for much of their lives. To give something back to the city that built them, they located Prosper for Purpose in one of its neighborhoods, Tremont. The community is known for good neighbors, great restaurants and a staple of artists and entrepreneurs.

While Cleveland was, for many years, recognized primarily for a burning river, losing sports teams and brain drain, times sure have changed. Burning River is now a beer, our sports fans are called the most loyal in America and we are the home of the 2016 NBA Champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers! Downtown housing cannot be built quickly enough to satisfy the demand by returning Clevelanders who found the grass was not greener somewhere else. Cleveland has been spotlighted for the rebirth of its downtown, its envious food scene and its beautiful neighborhoods in publications including Forbes, the New York Times and Greatest.com. But we didn’t need the media to tell us what we already know — there’s no place like home.
